I'm halfway through my last semester of undergrad, and all I want to do is paint! Sadly, I have to actually work on my graduation requirements. But I've been spending every minute of my non-study time on working on my own art and the blog. I'm REALLY proud of my blog, I'm over 3,000 followers now! My hours I've put into it weekly are really starting to pay off. I moved from Etsy to Bigcartel in the fall, and while I haven't made any sales yet, I'm still keeping my head off just on the amount of verbal support I've gotten on Tumblr. It was really weird though, when I was still phasing out my items on Etsy and letting them expire by themselves, someone bought a Cthulhu print from Etsy instead of Bigcartel. A sale is a sale, but it was annoying! I'm happy with the bigcartel interface though, all the customization I can do and the added benefit of not being compared to other artists is a big plus.
Well, that's that. I'm working on a few paintings right now that are actually nearing the end, sometimes the "end phase" can take the same amount of time as the starting point up until the end phase point, so who knows!!!
